i decided that considering how i am busy from the morning all day until around 6 pm every day (+ more as the semester progresses) it would not be the best to get a dog... they just need attention that i can't give them. and i as i start meeting new people around here and gain more of a social life i don't really want to put a dog in that position.

i also just love cats, of course.
