In the ghetto.... (like the song)
So if Columbia had a ghetto that is where I would be residing next year... http://columbiamo.craigslist.org/apa/683578683.html check it out! That is the lovely little bungalow where Tim and I will be moving, cross your fingers. However, not exactly the nicest part of town but by far not the most dangerous... if there is a dangerous part of Columbia. On one side of the house is a little fenced in yard with flowers and another 'bungalow', and on the other side, a sand pit full of children's toys... but the people look nice enough. And who cares, anything would be better then the foolishness we put up with coming from behind our balcony, ask Tim, ask Audrey! they know what I'm talking about! We saw the place and it wasn't the neighborhood that won us (ha), or the actually terrific wood floors, or the gigantic kitchen (that picture doesn't give it justice), nope it was the backyard... fenced in and large, surrounded by trees and brush, with a clothes line where birds were perching waiting for bugs to jump out of the beautifully overgrown green grass. I just imagined doing the dishes looking out on that (yes a huge window above the sink views the backyard) and Burt jumping up to get a glance while Rosemary waits patiently for him to get an update on the type of bird and how many... screw the rest, that is all I need. So we find out tomorrow!
