Above are some of the Veterans getting the tourney started on Saturday. They did a great job putting on an awesome tourney!

The rest are some photos I took of Tim's team playing. The got to the second day but fell short before semi-finals. Tim is playing goal with the red and black plaid shirt. He plans to edit some of these and get closer up views, like the one where Anchovy, purple shirt, is 'cuddling' Tim (basically trying to knock Tim out of goal) and the ball is mid-air by his back wheel.

It was incredible! Our crew threw the 2nd largest tourney this year in North America. 43 teams played. 1st day 88 games of polo played. 2nd day, Double Elim swiss rounds. Chicago beat the Beaver Boys to take 1st. It was amazing.

My team was made up of Me, Elliot, another COMO newbie, and Casey, a nice guy from Austin whose team days before fell through. He was more experienced than Elliot and I but I hope he still had fun. We lost 2 games, won one, tied one. It was awesome to get to play!
Now time for winter polo season, my first. Can't wait, this is when you make it or break it. After getting to see some AMAZING women come out and show up, I want to play harder, better and more solid.
I can't even begin to describe the weekend, all the crazy stories, great fucking players and how well the COMO Vets did making a great tourney!

Hopefully more photos soon and whatever else. Now that this is over, plus Halloween, I have more free time. I'll be keeping up with this blog more often.
