Bevin and I talked forever last night, about common complaints and a little shop she went to in South St. Louis that happened to have a ton of 50s aprons. And she bought a couple. They don't seem rare in the Midwest, I have a couple myself. But, the whole thing reminded me of this picture from a few years back at a friends birthday. The hostess had to get a picture of me in my 50s dress, with her 50s apron, holding a drink. (actually, thinking about it, almost every time I wear a vintage piece to a party there winds up being a picture like this one)

side note: I miss short hair as the weather gets hotter and more humid.
