which included annoying customers, spending a fortune on a stupid prescription, and realizing I am completely broke for the next week... I got home, was really upset, and saw this.... My first tulip of the season! Although it didn't change my financial issues or completely brighten my mood it made me smile. Those darn tulip plants didn't seem like they were going to come up let alone bloom (grubs in the soil), so it's nice to know that one thing went right today, the earth gave me a tulip.
Bike ride to the winery tomorrow, weather permitting, should help calm my restless worries about money... for a day, at the least.
